I know this is a board for idiots, and only on occasion do 
intellectuals that deserve to be included in society post a

understanding the problems and developing their knowledge of

- Afghanistan and other middle-eastern nations have been poor... 
forever.  They generally have corrupt governments and the masses 
can be easily swayed within this system.
- America has continued to support Isreal strongly and ignore 
the needs of surrounding Islamic nations even though Isreal 
constantly assaults and ridiculously "counter-attacks" the 
Islamic Palestinians and makes few half-hearted attempts at 
peace.
- Middle-Eastern governments and government-funded organizations 
blame their state of poverty on America and its "war against 
Islam" by supporting Isreal.  They preach this stuff in the 
schools.  These children grow up, and, thinking they are the 
good guys, attack westerners and think of it as "cleansing."  If 
someone taught you all of your life that your purpose was to 
please God and go to heaven by killing EVIL Americans, would you 
do it?  Think about it.

I just hope you turds got something out of this :p ...kidding...

And last, but not least: I believe your placement on this earth 
is random, that is the best guess I can make, as I have never 
met the supernatural force dictating the bodies we are assigned

I hope I will not be labeled a conspiracy theorist but I do seem 
to think that both sides of this conflict are overmanipulated by 
the media or some self-appointed so-called leaders who are not 
concerned with anything other than building their own power 
base. If I understand the main concepts of the Koran (sorry if I 
spellt it wrong) correctly, Islam is (or rather should be) 
basically equally as tolerant a religion as any other. 
Ladies and gentlemen, wouldn't it be time to think as human

Well, It seems to me that while, yes Terrorists can use just 
about anything to achieve their purposes, I think this 
particular avenue is by far the most dangerous. And the length 
of time it took to decontaminate the Hart building testifies to 
the fact that the Public Health system as we know it is WAY out

  The purpose of our involvement was to end communist oppression 
in the region.  It might well be that communism is giving way to 
capitalism in that region partly due to our presence there.  
  Because our intent was to end oppression by communist 
totalitarians there, and to help those who only wanted to be free 
from such tyranny, I fail to understand your assertion that we 
were somehow "humiliated".  I sense that humiliation is something 
which you fear, as you seem to have used the word quite bluntly 
in your message to me.
  As to your objection to my "reserve the right" phrasology, 
thank you for telling me that I sound like my President.  To be 
compared with a man of honor is always a compliment, even if it 
is tinged with very weak sarcasm.
  As to Daniel Pearl, I would imagine that your guess is better 
than mine.  After all, it's all I can do to recover from the 
"humiliation" of your message, without being expected to track 
down his captors and kill them.
