I see a story emerging from the ruins, a vivid picture
culminating from the throes of the global fight combating
terrorism.
Pakistan seems to be garnering a certain amount of leverage with
the U.S. Shouldn t this be made the focal point of the
investigation? After all, terrorists strike for a reason, and
that reason being "to benefit in ANY way, directly or in-
directly" .. Who seems to be benefiting now? Or who will be
benefiting in the near future?
At this point, I ask you to admit a certain level of speculation
and consider, hypothetically, If the Taliban isn t involved,
then who would join hands with "that bearded menace", Osama Bin
Laden and spread such havoc and terror? Here, the only likely
suspect that comes to mind is "a country, so starved for support
that they will stoop to any low", that country being.. Pakistan!
Taliban, in one way, maybe right in saying that Bin Laden could
not have planned such an elaborate attack with such psychedelic
precision; Yes, Osama may have wanted to use some sort of
explosive device, as he did in his previous attacks, but could
he have ever figured out using commercial airliners to cause
such massive destruction? I think not.. This is where I think
Pakistan comes in ... if you kindly recall the interview of Late
Ahmad Shah Masood, in Newsweek, he says, Pakistani generals are
in Afghanistan, keeping in constant touch with Osama. He even
names one of them. This recent interview took place before the
attack on WTC.
Pakistan, fed up with the failure of the Agra Summit and the
stand-off with India towards Kashmir figured it needed to do
something to gain favour with the U.S, it probably masterminded
this whole plot and sent it across the border to Osama, who
gladly accepts it as his own, He not only called for a "jihad"
or holy war against America and all American institutions but
has gone on record and congratulated the "martyrs" who took down
WTC
I ask my American friends to recall an interview with the media
of General Musharaff, in relation to the extremists fighting in
Kashmir, he termed them "freedom fighters", the same extremists
who were trained in camps sponsored by Osama Bin Laden are
freedom fighters in Kashmir but terrorists in the U.S. This is
a "big slap in the face" to all who globally condemn terrorism
be in any garb or form.
Its rather convenient that all the evidence gathered at the
scene and around the world point at Bin Laden, this is another
ploy of the original mastermind, to put it simply, here s what I
think took place sometime prior to the attacks.
Pakistan hatches an elaborate plan; sends it with a messenger,
one on the top Pakistani generals, named by Masood, to Osama Bin
Laden, He approves and agrees to finance the mission, He
contacts his people in Germany and Florida; After all his people
are in the right places knowing what to do at the right moment,
sends back word of readiness to Pakistan; they contact Taliban,
telling them that the time is ripe to eliminate Ahmad Shah
Masood, Unknowingly, they agree. Once Masood is hit, the
operation begins....
September 11, 2001 - WTC, Pentagon hit.... Four planes lost....
The objective is realised when the U.S asks Pakistan for support
and help.
Result: Leverage with the U.S. Since Pakistan has fully agreed
to U.S demands, they wait and at an appropriate time, will put
forth their own demands.
Soon....
I don t understand how they can even thinking of raking up
Kashmir after all this mess, but then again, that was the prime
objective.
